What will you find once you arrive at Harold Parker State Forest? More than 80 campsites with decent tree cover. Most are tent sites with no electric hookups. There are a very small number of RV spaces with 40-foot parking spots. The campground is located near Frye Pond and has a playground, basketball court, and swimming opportunities (plus hot showers!) And dog owners, rejoice – pets are allowed at the campground!

This forest covers a huge plot of land. In fact, Harold Parker State Forest is more than 3000 acres, so when you’re away from your campsite you will have plenty to do. The forest features a bunch of trails for biking and hiking. Boating (non-motorized) and swimming are permitted on the park’s 11 ponds.
